چکیده
This study introduces a new and bio-friendly adsorbent based on natural cetyltrimethylammonium chloride (CTAC)-modified prepared from wheat straw residues for the removal of Congo red (CR) tartrazine azo-anionic dyes aqueous solution. The was characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), calorimetric differential (DSC), scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDX), pH point zero charge (pHPZC) techniques. It found that decreasing dose increasing initial concentration favors red. Tartrazine adsorption capacities were 2.31 mg/g cellulose extracted (WC) 18.85 modified residue (MWC) as well 18.5 WC 19.92 MWC during adsorption, respectively. Increasing favored process. From time effect analysis, it equilibrium reached at 120 min when used 480 used. kinetics described pseudo-second-order in all cases R2 > 0.95. obtained data this research well-fitted Freundlich isotherm model.

Adsorption of Anionic Dyes on Poly(N-vinylpyrrolidone) Modified Bentonite
A composite based on poly(N-vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) and sodium bentonite was prepared by a simple method. Structural characterizations of the bentonite and the composite were performed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The TGA analysis showed a low loading of the polymer in the bentonite. XRD analysis confirmed a mod...

Adsorption Isotherm and Kinetics Study: Removal of Phenol Using Adsorption onto Modified Pistacia mutica shells
Background and purpose: Phenol is an aromatic hydrocarbon and one of the banzan derivatives which has a higher dissolution rate in water. Therefore, it must be removed for water pollution prevention. The aim of this study was to investigate the possibility of Pistaciamuticabio mass as an alternative adsorbent for phenol removal from aqueous solution. Materials and Methods: The effect of variou...
متن کاملKinetics of anaerobic biodecolourisation of azo dyes.
Kinetics of anaerobic biodecolourisation (methanogenic environment) of four azo dyes (Acid Orange 6, Acid Orange 7, Methyl Orange and Methyl Red) was investigated with regard to their electrochemical properties as well as under variation of dye and sludge concentrations, pH and temperature. Cyclic voltammetry revealed a correlation between the potential of irreversible reduction peak of the dye...
